C. Wijburg

Training and work experience
Carl Wijburg (1974) was trained as a urologist in the education cluster associated with the University Medical Center Utrecht. Additionally, he has been trained in robotic assisted surgery at the OLV Hospital in Aalst, Belgium (Dr. Alex Mottrie). Since 2008 he works as a staff member in the partnership Urology Urology Rijnstate Arnhem (Partnership Urologists Arnhem Velp and Zevenaar). He is particularly active in the field of cancer treatments in the urology, including prostate and bladder cancer. Since 2012 he has been involved in the training of other urologists at home and abroad, when it comes to robotic assisted surgery for prostate and bladder cancer.

Special focus
Robot assisted surgery and laparoscopy, fertility and general urology.
