IV. Urethral catheter placement A.G. Martov

After resectoscope has been removed, the lubricated 3-way urethral catheter is placed. The balloon is inflated with 50 ml saline in the bladder. Then catheter is moved outwards and is secured in tension position for 2 hours. The irrigation system is installed. The irrigation fluid has to be clear or slightly rose.
