Step 3. Lateral lobe resection A.G. Martov

Next stage is the lateral lobe resection. If one lateral lobe is larger, it's better to begin with it. The cuts are directed from 4 to 12 or 8 to 12 o’clock and from the bladder neck towards apex. Experienced urologists use prolonged cuts. The initial cuts are straight and the following movements are convex, parallel to the capsule.
