Transperitoneal A. Mottrie

A 2/0 Vicryl suture on the anterior surface of the prostate is used to elevate the prostate

Dissection is started postero-laterally, at the point where the bladder neck meets the posterior aspect of the prostate

When the lateral dissection has been completed, the bladder neck is transected anteriorly

Once the urethral catheter is exposed, the fourth arm is used to make traction and to expose the underlying tissue
